<p>A magnetic mount for a power tool to secure the power tool to a ferrous surface includes a substantially u-shaped bracket including a spaced apart pair of mounting arms each having a base end and an opposite distal end, a rigid cross-member joining the pair of mounting arms at the base ends, a mounting head on each distal end of the pair of mounting arms, at least one magnet mounted on the cross-member, wherein the pair of mounting arms are disposed in a first direction from the cross member and the magnet is disposed in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction, from the cross member, and wherein the mounting heads are adapted for mounting to at least one side of the power tool.</p> |
