[Class 132 (iii)] An archery arrow with a tubular steel shaft b has a separately formed pointed end piece a to receive a detachable nock. The pointed piece a is a shouldered steel tube inserted in the shaft or is placed over the end of the preferably pointed shaft b. The parts are received by brazing swaging or drawing through a die, and the outer member a is preferably reduced to the diameter of the shaft.
