A thruster for a ship is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the thruster for a ship includes: a casing extended downward from a fixating member fastened to a hull; and a propulsion module including three or more impellers installed on the outer side of the casing at regular intervals to generate different thrusts in three directions and a driving motor corresponding to the number of the impellers to transmit power for driving the impellers. Each driving motor independently operates to variably adjust the strength of thrusts from the impeller.
