The method involves forming the portions for forming build-up weld (13) to-be-produced, in a surface region on a surface of a substrate (4). A remelting area (7) is generated in the substrate. The build-up weld is generated on the surface region of the remelting area. The grain boundaries of a columnar structure are formed as the solidified or small-angle grain boundaries with a single crystal structure, in the remelting area.
