The present invention relates to an automatic interpretation/translation providing device using visible light communication and a method thereof. The automatic interpretation/translation providing device includes: an interpretation/translation unit which interprets or translates input voice or contents into other languages; an interpretation/translation result management unit storing interpretation and translation results; and an interpretation/translation result transmission unit which transmits the interpretation and translation results to one of multiple visible light communication transmitters and delivers the interpretation and translation results to a user based on a visible light signal transmitted from the selected visible light communication transmitter.
