A method of operating a non-volatile memory device includes the steps of: receiving a starting command through a command line; receiving an address through an address line; receiving a setting value through the address line; receiving a confirming command corresponding to the starting command through the command line; setting a setting value based on the starting command, the number of setting values, and the confirming command as a parameter of the non-volatile memory device; and performing an operation corresponding to the starting command with respect to a memory cell corresponding to the address based on the set parameter.
