<p>According to the present invention, an infrared ray senor module detects temperature by sensing an infrared ray of a bus bar, a cable connection part and a port connection part of a switch or a circuit breaker. A transient earth voltage sensor module is attached to the outer surface of a metal housing and senses a transient earth voltage according to a surface current occurred in the metal housing by electromagnetic waves which is generated by internal discharge, corona discharge and arc discharge in the metal housing. A main controller calculates a sound performance evaluation index using the temperature sensed by the infrared sensor module, detects the arc discharge or the corona discharge using the transient earth voltage sensed in the transient earth voltage sensor module, and blocks the switch or the circuit breaker real time by generating an an alarm signal and through an alarm speaker or a blocking signal in case where the calculated sound performance evaluation index is out of the predetermined normal range or in case where the arc discharge or the corona discharge is detected. And an embedded touch panel displays the temperature, the sound performance evaluation index and the transient earth voltage, and controls an operation of the main controller according to the command of a user inputted through a menu interface.</p> |
