PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more practical hydrogen sensor.SOLUTION: A hydrogen sensor comprises: a proton conductor 101 having a perovskite crystal structure represented by a composition formula ABB'O; a detection electrode 102 that is disposed in contact with the proton conductor and has a catalytic action in which hydrogen gas is transmitted, hydrogen is oxidized, and protons are generated; and a reference electrode 103 disposed in contact with the proton conductor. A is at least one selected from group 2 elements. B is at least one selected from group 4 elements and Ce. B' is a group 3 element, a group 13 element, or a lanthanoid element. Expressions 0.5<a≤1.0, 0.0≤x≤0.5, and 0.0≤δ<3 are satisfied. The electric charge of the composition formula is in the range of -0.13 or greater and less than +0.14, and deviates from being electrically neutral. |
