A double-cogged V-belt comprises: an endless, core wire-embedded section (110) having core wires (112); a lower cog formation section (120) provided integrally to the inner peripheral side of the core wire-embedded section (110); and an upper cog formation section (130) provided integrally to the outer peripheral side of the core wire-embedded section (110). The ratio of contraction of the core wires (112) caused by heat treatment at 120°C for one hour is in the range of 1.2% to 2.0%, inclusive. The hardness of a rubber composition which constitutes both the lower cog formation section (120) and the upper cog formation section (130) is lower than 90 degrees.
