PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool having a small-sized full closure type cover body for preventing external scattering of a coolant excellent in accessibility to a circular table.SOLUTION: A machine tool is composed of a peripheral surface part 3 composed of a fixed peripheral surface part 5 and a movable peripheral surface part 6 formed as a plan view circular arc-shaped curved peripheral surface in which the center of curvature Oc is positioned on any one side of the left and right and also on the innermost side to the center Ot of a table 1 and a radius of curvature Rc is a larger diameter than a radius Rt of the table 1 and a top surface part 4 having a tool post tracking movement top surface part 8 for moving together with a tool post 7 and a front top surface part 10 adjacent to this tool post tracking movement top surface part 8, and comprises a cover body 2 constituted so as to form an extensive opening part on the front side by openably-closably constituting the movable peripheral surface part 6, the tool post tracking movement top surface part 8 and the front top surface part 10. |
