PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the reduction of unnecessary notification by optimizing the timing of notification when notifying a clerk of an instruction to take action to reduce customers' waiting time for accounting.SOLUTION: An accounting service support device for supporting accounting service at a shop so as to reduce customers' waiting time for accounting includes: an intra-shop person state detection unit 42 which detects states of persons staying in the shop on the basis of an image obtained by photographing the inside of the shop; a clerk state detection unit 43 which detects states of clerks staying in the shop; a register device state detection unit 44 which detects states of register devices; a notification determination unit 45 which, when it is determined that action to reduce customers' waiting time for accounting should be taken, determines to notify of an instruction to operate a further register device if the further register device is determined to be operable, on the basis of the detection result of the clerk state detection unit and the detection result of the register state detection unit; and a notification unit 46 which notifies of the instruction on the basis of the determination result of the notification determination unit. |
