CAUSAL NETWORK GENERATING SYSTEM AND CAUSAL RELATION DATA STRUCTURE

A causal relation is represented by a data structure comprising: subject identification information for identifying a subject which represents a causal relation; index identification information of each of a plurality of indices to be used to quantitatively denote an event occurring in the subject; and causal relation information of each combination of two different indices which are selected from among the plurality of indices. The causal relation information further comprises: direction information which represents which of the two indices is a cause index and which is a result index; an intensity index which represents a causal intensity between the cause index and the result index; time information which represents a delay time required for an effect of the cause index to propagate to the result index; and correlation information which represents a direction of a change of the result index with respect to an increase or decrease of the cause index.
