The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and concerns fans intended for moving high-temperature gaseous media. The present fan comprises a working chamber having an impeller disposed therein which is fastened to a driven shaft, a coupling comprising a driving half coupling, integrated with a driving shaft, and a driven half coupling, attached to the driven shaft, said driving and driven half couplings being mounted spaced apart, and an electric motor. The coupling is in the form of a flange coupling, the hubs of the driving and driven half couplings are connected to flanges by means of blades equally spaced on the circumference, and the flanges of the driving and driven half couplings are provided with ventilation holes. The driving shaft is connected to a shaft of the electric motor by means of a V-belt drive. The invention is directed to enhancing the reliability of the design by intensifying the process of cooling the fan shaft, while at the same time simplifying the structure of the device and reducing energy consumption. |
