The invention is the design and assembly of a lamp shade with a supporting frame that holds the lamp shade in suspension with the major axis of the lamp shade positioned nominally vertically such that it is perceived as being level and proper orientation even though the supporting means, generally in the form of a suspension cable, is not in line with the major axis of the lamp shade but directly over the center of gravity of the lamp assembly, which is biased to one side because the supporting frame is off-side of the major axis of the lamp shade. |
