<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio device capable of distributing a load with reduced interference.SOLUTION: A radio base station 1 is in an activated state, whereas a radio base station 2 is in a sleep state. Terminal devices 3-6 are connected to the radio base station 1. When the radio base station 1 determines that a channel CH1 used by the self-station for radio communication is in an overloaded condition in which a new connection is to be refused, the radio base station 1 broadcasts a beacon frame which includes channel information indicative of the channel CH1 and overloaded information indicative of an overloaded condition. Each terminal device 3-6, upon receiving the beacon frame, detects that the channel CH1 of the radio base station 1 is in the overloaded condition, to transmit a wake-up signal to the radio base station 2 to activate using a channel CH2 other than the channel CH1 indicated by the channel information. When the radio base station 2 is activated, the terminal devices 3-6 change over a connection destination from the radio base station 1 to the radio base station 2.</p> |
