<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer that can sufficiently increase the creepage distance between a primary winding and a secondary winding.SOLUTION: A transformer has a bobbin 10 having a flange 13 on the outer periphery of a cylinder portion 11, a primary winding 21 and a secondary winding 22 which are wound in proximity to the flange portion 13 so that the flange portion 13 is sandwiched between the primary and secondary windings 21 and 22, a core installed in the cylinder portion 11, a case 40 which has first projection portions 41, 42 and covers the bobbin 10 from the upper side, and a bottom plate 50 which has second projecting portions 51, 52 on the upper surface thereof and is mounted at the lower side of the bobbin 10. An annular concave portion 17 is formed at the outer edge of the flange portion 13. The first projection portions 41, 42 and the second projection portions 51, 52 are fitted to one another over the whole periphery of the concave portion 17. Both the ends 42 of the first projection portion and both the ends 52 of the second projection portion are overlapped with one another when viewed in the winding axis direction of the bobbin 10. The overlap portions straddle from the inside of the concave portion 17 to the outside of the flange portion 13.</p> |
