<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery type gas alarm capable of urging a user to contact a gas service provider and stopping a false alarm in continuous output of the false alarm caused by malfunction.SOLUTION: A battery type gas alarm includes: a power switch knob 21 provided inside a recess 12a; and a blindfold part 40 for covering a side of a supply position of the recess 12a to regulate movement of the power switch knob 21 to a shielding position when the power switch knob 21 is located at the supply position and for exposing the side of the shielding position of the recess 12a to permit movement of the power switch knob 21 to the supply position when the power switch knob 21 is located at the shielding position. The blindfold part 40 is composed of a film-like seal to easily rupture the blindfold part 40, thus permitting movement of the power switch knob 21 located at the supply position to the shielding position by allowing a user to rupture the seal.</p> |
