<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock in which a sufficient hold effect is obtained in the heel part while taking into consideration gore line existence in the heel portion of the sock and in which slipping off or deviation of the heel part of the sock from the heel of a wearer is surely prevented when the sock is worn.SOLUTION: This is a sock 1 with a slip-off prevention function which is formed as a plating knitting texture with nonelastic upper thread 6 and elastic under thread 7. Between a left and right gore lines 5 in the heel part 3, the nonelastic upper thread 6 is switched with elastic upper thread 61 by one or a few courses, making elasticity of the formation part between the elastic upper thread 61 and the elastic under thread 7 stronger than the formation part between the nonelastic upper thread 6 and the elastic under thread 7. Thus, the formation part between the elastic upper thread 61 and the elastic under thread 7 is made to contract inward by the strong elasticity, thereby forming arrayed in the course direction an inward projected part 8 and outward projected part 9 each for preventing slipping-off.</p> |
