<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen pump that is more practical.SOLUTION: A hydrogen pump includes: an anode comprising catalyst for oxidizing hydrogen; a cathode comprising catalyst for reducing proton; and a proton conductor disposed between the anode and the cathode. The proton conductor has a perovskite crystal structure represented by composition formula ABB'O, and in which A is at least one selected from the group 2 elements, B is at least one selected from the group 4 elements and Ce, B' is a group 3 element, group 13 element or lanthanoid element, a, x andδeach is 0.5<a≤1.0, 0.0≤x≤0.5 and 0.0≤δ<3, and the charge of the composition formula is in a range of -0.13 or more and less than +0.14 and is offset from the electrical neutrality.</p> |
