<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier capable of performing sterilization for suppressing odor at the humidification operation start time and during an operation with less power by allowing sterilization performance to permeate inside a filter and performing sterilization inside the filter.SOLUTION: Sterilization operation means includes: sterilization substance discharge means for filling space from a downstream side of a humidification body 9 to an exhaust port 4 side with sterilization substances by driving only sterilization means 15, and allowing the sterilization substances to be dissolved in water in a tray 10; and sterilization substance permeation means for allowing the sterilization substances to permeate inside the humidification body 9 by performing driving of the sterilization means 15 and reverse rotation drive of a blower fan 12. During a sterilization operation, sterilization of the humidification body 9 is performed by operating the sterilization substance discharge means first, and next, by operating the sterilization substance permeation means to allow the sterilization substances to permeate into the humidification body 9.</p> |
