PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body inclining device for a railroad vehicle, which uses a highly reliable leveling valve device and can considerably increase speed for lifting and inclining a vehicle body and speed for inclining and restoring the vehicle body.SOLUTION: A vehicle body inclining device 10FL comprises a leveling valve device 20 that supplies, exhausts and blocks off compressed air according to a height position of a vehicle body 1. A vehicle body inclination controlling portion 40, when lifting and inclining the vehicle body 1 or inclining and restoring the vehicle body 1, switches flow of the compressed air with an electromagnetic switch valve 31. In an inclination-side flow path 50B are provided inclination-side storage piping 61B and an inclination-side reserve tank 62B that take in compressed air that is injected from an air storage 4 when the vehicle 1 is at a usual height position. In a passive-side flow path 50A are provided passive-side storage piping 61A and a passive-side reserve tank 62A that take in the compressed air from an air spring 3FL when inclining and restoring the vehicle body 1.
