1. A storage device comprising:
a nonvolatile memory device; and a memory controller that is configured to control the nonvolatile memory device, wherein the memory controller comprises: an encryption key feeder configured to generate a cipher key according to a logical address transferred from a host; and an encryption engine configured to perform an encryption operation on data transferred from the host or a decryption operation on data transferred from the nonvolatile memory device using the cipher key provided from the encryption key feeder, wherein the encryption key feeder comprises a key mapper configured to manage key indexes corresponding to logical address ranges, and the key mapper compares a logical address transferred from the host with the logical address ranges, and wherein the key mapper comprises: a first comparator configured to compare a logical address range (LBA) lower bound value of the logical address range with the logical address; a second comparator configured to compare an LBA upper bound value of the logical address range with the logical address; and a logic gate configured to logically combine an output value of the first comparator and an output value of the second comparator. |
