1. A storage management computer comprising:
a communication control device coupled to a first storage apparatus and a second storage apparatus; a memory configured to store state information indicating states of the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus; and a processor coupled to the communication control device and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to acquire an operation instruction which instructs an operation for changing a configuration of a virtual storage apparatus that uses the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus, and is configured to, when the operation instruction is executed during an inter-enclosure data migration from the first storage apparatus to the second storage apparatus, select a target storage apparatus from the first storage apparatus and the second storage apparatus based on the operation instruction and the state information, generate an operation command that instructs an operation for changing a configuration of the target storage apparatus, and transmit the operation command to the target storage apparatus.
