PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism that enables the use of a technology coordinated with applications such as Web Intents, even for an application operating in an execution environment of a conventional image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 502 uses function information on functions provided by an application 103 to receive a processing request from the application 103 via a relay function 102, executes the functions provided by the application 103 in response to the indication according to the processing request, and notifies the relay function 102 of a result of the execution. The application 103 is achieved as a servlet. |
