PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus equipped with a case that is stably operable even if it has a long insertion part.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus 1 includes: a long insertion part 10 which has an imaging mechanism at an end part and is bendable; a display part 40 which displays an image acquired by the imaging mechanism; an operation part 20 which performs bending operation of the insertion part 10; and a case 61 in which the display part and the operation part on a front surface side are housed and the insertion part 10 is connected to a back side opposite the front surface side. The case 61 has: a base part 65 having a ground surface 65A; and a back surface part 67 to which the insertion part 10 is connected. In a lateral surface view, with a first flat surface going a middle point in a height direction from the base part 65 and being parallel to the base part 65 as a boundary, when an area on the base part 65 side in the case 61 is called a lower area and an area on the side opposite the base part 65 an upper area, in the back surface part 67, the insertion part 10 is extended downward in the height direction from a part belonging to the lower area or a central part in the height direction. |
