摘要 The main problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a supported gold nanoparticle catalyst and having high catalytic activity. The above-mentioned problem can be solved by a supported catalyst comprising: a carrier having a reducing power; and gold nanoparticle with an average particle diameter of 100 nm or less, and preferably with an average particle diameters of 5 nm or less supported on the carrier. The present invention also provides a method for producing the supported catalyst.
