This thermoelectric conversion material contains Ca and Si as main components, and the composition of a microcrystal of the main components is represented by Ca3-xMxSi4-yTy, wherein: the element M represents at least one element selected from among Mg, Sr, Ba, Al, Ga, In, Tl, Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Zn, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zr, Nb, Mo, W and Ta; the element T represents at least one element selected from among B, Al, Ga, In, C, Ge, Sn, N, O, P, As, Sb, Bi, S and Ba; and x and y are respectively within the ranges of 0 ≤ x < 0.2 and 0 ≤ y < 0.2. |
