PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that static electricity discharged in the vicinity of a gas introduction port reaches a detection element, internal wiring of the detection element is broken, and a failure occurs in a gas detector.SOLUTION: A gas detector includes: a detection element; a circuit board; a housing case having a gas introduction port; and a metal body covering the gas introduction port. The detection element is disposed at the lower part of the metal body. The gas detector further includes a conductive detection element fusion prevention material electrically connected with ground wiring of the circuit board. The detection element fusion prevention material is disposed at a position where a minimal length between the metal body and the detection element fusion prevention material is smaller than a minimal length between the metal body and the detection element. |
