PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for keeping a flow meter flow tube amplitude constant over a variable temperature range.SOLUTION: A flow meter includes a driver and pickoff sensors coupled to a flow tube. The driver is adapted to vibrate the flow tube in response to a drive signal. The method and apparatus comprise setting a target pickoff voltage, measuring a flow meter temperature, and controlling the drive signal to generate a temperature compensated target pickoff voltage to maintain a temperature compensated flow tube amplitude. |
