<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device with which optical alignment can be uniformly performed.SOLUTION: In an optical alignment step in a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device including a display panel having a liquid crystal layer held between substrates, in order to make the amount of exposure of ultraviolet light 212 uniform in both an area of a substrate 150 that passes through a lower area of the center part of a rod-like UV lamp that is arranged extending long in a direction intersecting a direction of travel 251 of the substrates and an area of the substrate 150 that passes the end areas of the rod-like UV lamp 210, the substrate 150 is irradiated with the ultraviolet light 212 through an aperture 240b having an opening width at the ends larger than that at the center part.</p> |
