PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device and lighting equipment that can suppress difficulty of pattern layout design on a circuit board in a limited rectangular space on the circuit board.SOLUTION: A lighting device 10 has a rectangular circuit board 20 having a boosting chopper circuit and a back converter circuit mounted thereon, an input terminal table provided at one end portion of a short-side side of the surface of the circuit board 20, an output terminal table 22 provided at the other end portion, and a control terminal table 30 provided to be adjacent to the output terminal table 22 on the surface of the circuit board 20. A positive electrode input terminal and a negative electrode input terminal are provided to be arranged in the plane direction of the circuit board 20. The output terminal table 22 is connected to the output side of the back converter circuit, and has the positive electrode output terminal 24 and the negative electrode output terminal 26 arranged in the plane direction of the circuit board 20. The control terminal table 30 has plural terminals 31 to 36 arranged in the plane direction of the circuit board 20. The plural terminals 31 to 36 contain a reference potential terminal 31 located at the end of the opposite side to the output terminal table 22.
