Provided are a method and apparatus for measuring interference in a wireless communication system. A terminal receives, from a base station, a zero-power channel state information (CSI) reference signal (RS) indicator that indicates whether or not to estimate interference using a zero-power CSI RS signal, and, according to the zero-power CSI RS indicator, measures interference on the basis of the zero-power CSI RS. |

1. A method for computing, by a user equipment (UE), a channel quality indicator (CQI) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
receiving, by the UE, a channel state information (CSI) interference measurement (IM) resource configuration for interference measurement from a base station, the CSI IM resource configuration including a zero-power CSI reference signal (CSI RS) configuration and a zero-power CSI RS subframe configuration; receiving, by the UE, a CSI RS resource configuration from the base station, the CSI RS resource configuration including a CSI RS configuration and a CSI RS subframe configuration; measuring, by the UE, interference based on a zero-power CSI RS configured by the CSI IM resource configuration; and measuring, by the UE, a channel based on a CSI RS configured by the CSI RS resource configuration. |
