The purpose of the present invention is to process an application layer request in an electric device. An operation method for the electric device comprises the steps of: transmitting an application layer request by means of a first interface; and, if a response which corresponds to the request that has been transmitted by means of the first interface is not received before a timer expires, retransmitting the application layer request by means of a second interface. Moreover, the present invention comprises embodiments other than the aforementioned embodiment.
