Provided are a device and method for generating a sine wave. The device comprises: a phase accumulation module, for obtaining configuration information of a sine wave and generating address information of the sine wave according to the configuration information, wherein the address information comprises integer address information and decimal address information; a value searching module, for searching for first data information and second data information of the sine wave according to the integer address information; an interpolation module, for conducting interpolation between the first data information and the second data information according to a bit width of the decimal address information and obtaining interpolated original data information of the sine wave according to the decimal address information; a random truncation module, for conducting truncation on the interpolated original data according to the bit width of the decimal address information and a pseudorandom sequence output value to obtain final interpolated data information of the sine wave; and a sine wave generation module, for generating image information of the sine wave. According to the device of the present invention, a sine wave with more diversified and accurate frequency can be generated by using a digital circuit with smaller area. |
