PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of improving fuel economy by increasing efficiency as the whole system.SOLUTION: A hybrid control device 50 acquires cooling water temperature W of an engine 10 and an SOC (state of charge) of a main battery 15 and calculates engine speed Ne which is the number of revolutions of the engine 10, and engine torque Te which is the torque output from the engine 10. When the cooling water temperature W is equal to or lower than a water temperature target value Wg and the SOC is a state having a charge margin, the hybrid control device 50 sets an engine driving mode to a charge efficiency maximum mode and, on the basis of the SOC, the hybrid control device 50 calculates the engine speed Ne and the engine torque Te at which a fuel consumption FC per unit charging electric power to be charged in the main battery 15 become minimum. This enables efficiency as the whole system to be increased and fuel economy to be improved. |
