PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in a communication characteristic in non-contact communication while preventing reduction in the amount of information that can be displayed and preventing the whole device from becoming large.SOLUTION: A background electrode 13 is formed such that it will surround display electrodes 11a-11n in a loop on a base substrate 14 on which the display electrodes 11a-11n are formed, and a loop-shaped non-contact communication antenna 15 is provided such that it will face the background electrode 13. The background electrode 13 is provided with a gap 17 at its one place and the loop is broken. |
