PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter capable of accurately detecting the movement of a human body without applying a load to the human body.SOLUTION: A supporter 1 includes an installation part 10 to be installed around a lower limb part, and a flexible detection part 11 fixed on the installation part 10. The flexible detection part 11 is a component that expands and contracts with the installation part 10. With the installation part 10 being installed to the lower limb part, the flexible detection part 11 detects a flexible movement of the component along a peripheral diameter direction of the lower limb part. By using this supporter, when a person wearing the supporter performs exercise and the peripheral diameter of the lower limb part changes, the installation part 10 and the flexible detection part 11 expand and contract in accordance with the change in the peripheral diameter. Thus the expansion/contraction amount can be detected. |
