Provided is an air conditioner in which a storage unit stores threshold value data that represents a first threshold value and a second threshold value. A heater control determination unit reads the threshold data from the storage unit, enables control of a heater when the outdoor air temperature is equal to or less than the first threshold value, and disables control of the heater when the outdoor air temperature is equal to or greater than the second threshold value. A heater operation control unit sets heater operation so as to be normally off when control of the heater is disabled and performs on/off control of heater operation on the basis of the relationship between the indoor temperature and a set temperature when control of the heater is enabled. A reception unit receives a threshold value designation signal that is input by a user and that designates at least one of the first threshold value and the second threshold value. A threshold value setting unit sets the threshold value data that is stored in the storage unit on the basis of that which is designated by the received threshold value designation signal. |
