The present invention relates to a cooling device for a hot rolled steel sheet and, more specifically, to a cooling device for a hot rolled steel sheet to effectively cool a steel sheet heated by a plating process. According to an embodiment of the present invention the cooling device for a hot rolled steel sheet includes: a body part for accepting a cooling liquid; a nozzle part provided on one side of the body part to inject air and the cooling liquid to a hot rolled steel sheet; an air chamber part placed below the body part to store air; and a cylinder part placed above the body part to selectively supply the air stored in the air chamber part to the nozzle part. The nozzle part supplies the cooling liquid stored in the body part using compression caused by the supply of air from the cylinder part. The nozzle part guides the air and the cooling liquid supplied from the cylinder part to separately flow and injects the air and the cooling liquid to make them be mixed outside.
