<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of detection accuracy of a received signal by accelerating convergence of an AGC, regardless of the change or movement of a communication counterpart.SOLUTION: A receiver includes a gain control unit for adjusting the gain in th receiver, depending on the power of signals received at a receiving antenna, and a power detector for determining whether or not the power of the signals exceeds a second threshold larger than a first threshold, in a predetermined period after the power of the signals has exceeded the first threshold. The gain control unit adjusts the gain search range in the receiver, based on the determination results from the power detector for the power of the signals.</p> |
