PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint capable of reducing slide resistance and securing durability.SOLUTION: An inner member 14 of a constant velocity joint 10 has a trunnion 28 (a holding part) for holding a roller assembly 30. The trunnion 28 includes a first protrusion 32, a first recess 34, a second protrusion 36, a second recess 38, a third protrusion 40, a third recess 42, a fourth protrusion 44 and a fourth recess 46. The first to fourth protrusions 32, 36, 40 and 44 are contact portions coming in contact with the inner circumference wall of an inner roller 48 constituting the roller assembly 30, and on the other hand, the first to fourth recesses 34, 38, 42 and 46 are non-contact portions being separated from the inner peripheral wall. That is, in the trunnion 28, the contact portions and the non-contact portions are alternately arranged. In the first projection 32 and the third projection 40, virtual tangents L1 and L3 are parallel to the longitudinal direction of a guide groove 20. Further, in the second projection 36 and the fourth projection 44, virtual tangents L2 and L4 are orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the guide groove 20. |
