PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket device and a lighting fixture, capable of preventing the fitted lamp device from being positionally deviated or from dropping off.SOLUTION: A socket device 30 includes a socket body 32 and a terminal 33. The socket body 32 includes: a mounting hole 38 into which a lamp pin 23 protruding from un upper surface of a lamp device 12 is inserted and the lamp pin 23 is fitted by turning to one side in a circumferential direction of the lamp device 12; and reverse turning inhibition means 43 that inhibits the lamp device 12 turned to a predetermined fitting position from being turned in the reverse direction with respect to the one side in the circumferential direction.
