PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make available an intraoral three-dimensional camera and a corresponding method, which make it possible to photograph larger regions in the simplest and most reliable possible manner.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for optical three-dimensional measurement using an intraoral camera 2 for creating continuous individual two-dimensional pictures or a sequence of a plurality of two-dimensional pictures. In the method, a three-dimensional image is created from at least one individual two-dimensional picture or from at least one sequence and in a first operating mode, many of all the created two-dimensional pictures or all the created sequences are used to create at least one three-dimensional image. In addition, the method allows a selection between the first operating mode and a second operating mode. In the second operating mode, many of all the two-dimensional pictures or all the sequences created during an interval of time immediately before and/or after an actuation instruction are used to create at least one three-dimensional image. |
