PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle control device which properly determines whether or not battery warmup control should be performed when a battery temperature is lower than a prescribed temperature threshold.SOLUTION: An HV-ECU (hybrid vehicle control device) acquires route information or the like of a navigation device when a battery temperature Tb is lower than a temperature threshold Tbs (S02: YES), estimates a fuel consumption amount of an engine up to an integration finish time tf when battery warmup control is performed on and after a current time, and also when normal control is performed (S03 to S07), and prohibits the execution of the battery warmup control (S10) when a warmup-time fuel consumption amount estimated value &Sgr;FCwu exceeds a normal-time fuel consumption amount estimated value &Sgr;FCnor (S08: YES). By this constitution, there can be avoided such a situation that fuel economy is deteriorated by performing the battery warmup control like a conventional technology by which the battery warmup control is constantly performed when the battery temperature Tb is merely lower than the temperature threshold Tbs. |
