PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress entrance of water and snow while lowering an intake air temperature.SOLUTION: An air intake device for a vehicle engine includes: a duct 10 provided in an engine room in a vehicle front part and supplying air introduced from a vehicle forward to an engine; and an elastic member 60 fixedly installed in a vehicle body member 20 disposed in a front part of the engine room and abutting on a hood 4 covering an upper part of the engine room to elastically support the hood 4. An inlet 12a opened toward the vehicle forward of the duct 10 is disposed on a rear side of the elastic member 60.
