<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus that has no restrictions on its position at a time of imaging, detects an X-ray irradiation start by distinguishing between natural radiation and an X-ray irradiated from an X-ray generator in real time, and is capable of preventing false detection of an X-ray irradiation start due to natural radiation.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus 1 comprises: a plurality of detecting elements 7 arranged two-dimensionally; a radiation sensor 25 for changing the voltage value Va output when irradiated with radiation; determining means 22 for determining whether or not the radiation entering the radiation sensor 25 is natural radiation on the basis of a length Wp of a period during which the voltage value Va output from the radiation sensor 25 is outside a predetermined range from Vth- to Vth+; and irradiation start detecting means 22 for determining whether or not X-ray irradiation from an X-ray generator is started, on the basis of a determination result that the determining means 22 has determined that the radiation entered into the radiation sensor 25 is not natural radiation.</p> |
