MULTIFUNCTIONAL ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunctional admixture for a concrete capable of solving simultaneously and at a satisfactorily low cost, three problems: 1) a concrete prepared using a Portland blast furnace cement containing a blast furnace slag fine powder has a low fluidity retention (slump retention) with time after being prepared; 2) a hardened body obtained by hardening a concrete prepared using a Portland blast furnace cement containing a large amount of a blast furnace slag fine powder has a low compression strength; and 3) when a concrete prepared using a Portland blast furnace cement containing a large amount of a blast furnace slag fine powder is subjected to a thermal history by which the temperature of the concrete is elevated by heat-generation thereof in a process in which the concrete is hardened through a hydration reaction thereof, compression strength is deteriorated.SOLUTION: The multifunctional admixture for a concrete is prepared by blending a specified water-soluble vinyl copolymer, a specified water-soluble dextrin compound, and a specified hydroquinone in a specified blending ratio.
