<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet, which is loaded on a downside tray, from coming into contact with an upside tray, when the downside tray is lifted.SOLUTION: A sheet loading device of the present invention includes: a first tray capable of being loaded with a sheet; a second tray that is arranged under the first tray and that can be loaded with the sheet; sheet detecting means capable of detecting the sheet on the second tray; driving means capable of independently lifting and lowering the first and second trays; and control means for controlling the driving means. The control means can control the driving means so that the first and second trays can be lifted, in such a manner that the non-detection of the sheet by the sheet detecting means is regarded as momentum.</p> |
