<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transfer device which can easily discharge a sheet to the outside of a sheet transfer path at the occurrence of a jam and suppress loss of synchronism of a transfer motor, and an image formation system having the same.SOLUTION: At the occurrence of a jam, a sheet transfer path 31 is opened by moving a roller of a downstream side transfer roller pair 317 in a direction apart from the sheet transfer path 31 together with the movement of a movable guide part 35. Then, the downstream side transfer roller pair 317 stops and upstream side transfer roller pairs 313-316 continue to rotate, thereby discharging a sheet between the downstream side transfer roller pair 317 and the upstream side transfer roller pair 316 from the sheet transfer path 31 opened by the movable guide part 34.</p> |
