摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a thin film transistor substrate capable of reducing the size of a contact hole to electrically connect a transparent electrode with a switching device. The thin film transistor substrate comprises: a gate electrode arranged on a base substrate; an active pattern to overlap the gate electrode; a source electrode to overlap a first end of the active pattern; a drain electrode which is separated from the source electrode and overlaps a second end of the active pattern; an organic insulating layer to cover the gate electrode, the active pattern, the source electrode, and the drain electrode; and the transparent electrode which is in contact with the drain electrode through the contact hole defined in the organic insulating layer. The organic insulating layer includes a first thickness unit including the contact hole, and a second thickness unit which is connected to the first thickness unit and is thicker than the first thickness unit.
